After a long time, and old friend has got back in touch.

Noel was a fellow member of a series of bands I was in in the seventies and eighties. In fact we were the only constants in a very changing lineup. For about half of that time I’ve been working shifts, which makes being a musician, and some time on permanent lates, finishing at 10pm, which makes it near impossible. However for the last year I haven’t been on shiftwork and I’d like to get back to playing again.

This last week Noel contacted me on Facebook. He’d like to revisit some old songs we knew back in the day. We met up for the first time in years at a concert. Michael Robert Band were playing in Leeds. A good concert too.

So now we need to meet up again. There’s just one problem, Noel works shifts.
