Sometimes the police have to gather criminal intelligence so that they can solve rimes. Sometimes it isn’t necessary. Some criminals are criminally stupid.

Take a story from the paper this week. A man goes into the bank to tell them of a change of address, sees the money in the tills  and decides to rob the bank after, yes AFTER, he .has told them where he lives.

He got two and a half years for attempted robbery. Never mind attempted, I look on it as two and a half years for successful stupidity.

The news does not get better than this.
