There is one political party in the UK whose existence is all about Britain’s relationship with the EU, The UK Independence Party, or UKIP.
This week they unveiled their election poster:
Are they debating the economics of Britain’s membership of the EU? It does not look like it. As in the European elections the UKIP approach is to go for the fear factor. Make people fear that their jobs and their future is going to be taken by hoards of rampaging Romanians settling in Romford.
What the party which is supposedly all about Europe is not doing is discussing Europe. Will the UK be better off financially out of Europe, and if so lets see the figures.
But UKIP are avoiding this issue. What are they scared of?
