2020 Vision
Where is this blog going this year?
2017 to 2019 were all about the Bible.
In mid 2017 I started a Bible reading plan on the YouVersion app that took me through the Old Testament in two years. Later that year I added a New Testament in a year to it. Then my church, Holy Trinity Church, Huddersfield asked all regular to read through the whole Bible in a year, the church is 200 years old opened in 1819. In two and a half years I have read through the whole Bible twice.
This year I am feeling pulled towards concentrating on prayer and worshipping God, I will start using a plan of morning office, with evening office for days when the morning is too busy or I simply forget. The Bible will still be read, following a lectionary. The form will vary, I shall try out a few different versions of the daily office at first.
As far as this blog is concerned the obvious difference is that pictures will now always be set in the middle to be fair to people who read on smartphones. It will mean that I can also occasionally write on smartphone as well. Outside of Lent and Advent, the midweek blog will be on a variety of subjects, living with autism or disability should be prominent.
So that’s it. I wish you all a happy and prosperous new year again.
