George Floyd is our brother, our father, our cousin, our friend – by Neil Charlton – Grace + Truth

I was finding it hard to say how disgusted I was with the killing of George Floyd, being a white British man. Instead, I am pointing you to this, written by a black man. To me, it gets to the heart of the matter. It made me cry.

Thank you for writing this, Neil Charlton. #BlackLivesMatter

Last Sunday my church celebrated Pentecost. Over 50 different nationalities are represented within our fellowship in Streatham, south London.

It was great to see an online montage of many of our members dressed in their national attire. It’s a beautiful reminder of the multicultural birth of the church…
