In the centre of Leeds, right by the railway station is the Queens Hotel.
In the Queens Hotel is the Queens bar.
In the Queens Bar are chandeliers.
And they serve cream tea.
It is a little oasis of calm in among the bustle. Leeds on a Saturday afternoon is full of people shopping, that’s if they can get through the crowds to the shops. But the Queens Hotel works at an entirely different pace. For an hour you can indulge in being pampered, whilst drinking tea and eating cakes.
Posh.
I could do it more often.
