The Lord’s Prayer — Part 18

The Lord’s prayer finishes the way it started, with praise to the Father God.

Actually, it doesn’t, as neither Matthew or Luke finish their version of the prayer Jesus gave with these words. But that does not make it wrong to use it. The three-part doxology about Kingdom, Power and Glory reminds us that these things are not things we should be seeking, all belongs to God.
